Design and development Process
Inception & Strategy
We incorporate learning and adapting at the start of our project. Rather than immediately implementing changes, the inception phase is a dedicated period to zoom out and focus on learning the client’s requirements and how that can be optimally planned and executed for a customized solution. This phase typically runs 2 to 4 weeks depending on project size, client’s resource availability and agreed-upon schedule. A dedicated person is assigned to the project and closely works with the client’s representative to identify the core requirements and gaps in the current workflow or processes for a strategic solution.
Documentation & Planning
We take this time to determine the needs and expectations of a new product. This phase involves frequent communication with the stakeholders and end-users of the product to define expectations, resolve conflicts, and document all the essential requirements. The development plan will be reviewed and discussed with the client for their input and approval to initiate our detailed design processes.
Design, Development and QA
Based on the agreed-upon contracted requirements, our design team prepares design specifications for the client’s project. Projects may be static websites, mobile apps for restaurant deliveries, or a more complex project to implement automated workflow processes for a pharmaceutical manufacturing unit. Our internal SME (Subject Matter Expert) reviews the design specifications and begins development. During the development phases, the design team will provide updates for the company for their review. After achieving all major milestones identified in the planning stages, the integrated developed solution enters the testing phase, along with troubleshooting. At this stage, our QA/QC team verifies all the functionality with the design specifications and requirements and creates an internal report of findings.
Launch and Support
Once all the identified QA/QC items and any other issues in the design are resolved, the final product is ready for deployment to the live server. Before deploying the code to the live server, our development team trains the client on our lab servers and after the client’s approval, the code is moved to the live server. Our execution team monitors the code execution, traffic, and processes in the background for any errors and bugs for an agreed upon time (typically 2 to 3 weeks). We will provide support for 6 weeks from the date of code deployment to the live server. Any additional support can be extended as negotiated.
